MK-4 "Healey"

The "Healey" machine is named after my good friend "Malcolm Healey" of "M.& J. Healey Violins". A fine maker of basses and all string instruments, and a all round fine honest fellow whom one can trust to give a straight forward account with all his dealings. I am extremely happy to name such good machines after such a nice person. These machines do not come with screws or washers, as the angling of the cog is again such that when you place on the worm and thumb screw, it holds the cog in place. As you can see from one of the pictures, it looks and works well on a bass. The bass in question is a c1920's Italian instrument, and the machines were fitted just a couple of years ago. Again, very low geared for fine tuning, and extremely easy to fit.
