Baker", probably the most famous maker of machines ever. Most of the
great British makers of the 19th. century used "Baker" machines.
Elegantly designed, yet simple. They have been around for more than one
hundred years, yet really have never been beaten. These machines are still
made by many accessory makers as there is no copyright on them. So why buy
them from us? Easy to answer. Our quality is second to none, yet we try
extremely hard to keep our prices at a sensible level. It is a funny thing
to be remembered for, double bass machine heads. Specially when the
designer and maker also made very fine instruments. Yet not many people
remember "Baker" for his basses, just his machines. Life can be
very perverse! The machine comes with a screw and washer which must be
used to hold the cog in place.
