MK-8 "Peterson"
I
was asked to design a machine that would look somewhat like a good French
machine. I came up with the "Peterson". Many of these machines
have obviously gone to France, and I have seen them on old and new French
instruments. I myself have used them on many occasions on
"Hawks" basses. They have complimented the instruments well.
They come with a screw and washer which must be used to hold the cog in
place. They are named after "John Peterson" of California,
U.S.A. A fine fellow, good maker and repairer, but most of all a good
friend.
