MK-12 "Knobel"
The
last in the present series of machines, though there will be more designs
produced in the future. Again, a classic English style machine, which will
grace any style of instrument. They are named after my dear friend,
"Herbert Rainer Knobel" of Celle in Germany. "Knobel"
is to my way of thinking a great maker and repairer of basses, and what is
more a very fine human being who all can trust to be honest and
forthright. He is married to Christina, a Dutch lady and a true friend. I
was really happy to name these machines after this fine fellow. The
machine comes with a screw and washer which must be used to hold the cog
in place. The cog is very low geared which gives very fine tuning. Very
easy to fit.
